Race across varied terrain in your red Ferrari with your female passenger over a series of short tracks.Game play is viewed form just above and behind the car, so you can see it. The roads are full of sharp bends and hazards. Contact with any hazard will either cause you to flip and roll, spin out or crash. The result is always the same: lost time.Time is very critical. Time lost seems to compound and become more of a problem in later tracks.

Out Run Europa

The third game in the OutRun series, which revolutionised the third-person perspective style of racing games. The levels are set across Europe. Your mission is simple, drive as fast as you can to out run the police. A different vehicle is used on each level. You must complete each level within the strict time limits while dodging roads filled with other cars to avoid and overtake.


ZX Spectrum Pac-Man

Pac-man was one of the most popular games of all time and it heavily influenced game design of the early 1980s. Your task is simple, you must eat all the dots to proceed to the net level, all while running away from the ghosts. However, there are four power up zones that when eaten allows you to eat each of the four ghosts.The game was so popular that a short-lived cartoon show was created with pac-mac, ms-pac-man and Pac-Man Jr along with the ghosts.


ZX Spectrum Pac-Mania

Pac-Mania is a variation on the game Pac-Man. Like Pac-man, eat all of the dots to proceed to the next round and the multi-colored ghosts roam the maze trying to stop you. If you eat one of the power pellets in the maze, the ghosts will temporarily turn blue and run from you. Now for what makes this game different than its forerunner. The maze is in 3-D, the screen is larger that scrolls to follow the and Pac-Mancan now jump.

ZX Spectrum Paperboy

In this spiteful arcade game, your job is to deliver papers to your customers while inflicting damage to non-customers. Watch out for obstacles in your way both on the road and the sidewalk. Obstacles include: construction workers, rogue tires, skateboarders, dogs and cats, cars, and even the occasional tornado.

Pipe Mania

Each level challenges you to create a network of pipes to allow a substance to flow through as many of those as possible.The pieces are offered in random order and come in seven types: straight lines going horizontally or vertically, corners rotating in each of the four directions, and cross-over pieces which carry the flooz straight across horizontally or vertically.

Pit-Fighter is a 3rd-person fighting game featuring digitised graphics of real fighters.Players select one of three fighters: Buzz, Ty or Kato. At the conclusion of a match, players are individually awarded a Knockout Bonus, Brutality Bonus, and a Fight Purse. The third match in the series tests your skill against that of your opponents. The last man standing is the winner. Fight your way to the final elimination round with the chance to dethrone the Masked Warrior.

Pitfall became a top hit in the early 1980s and was ported to many platforms.You play the role of Pitfall Harry on a quest to locate treasure deep in the jungle. Look for money bags, silver bars, gold bars, and diamond rings. As with any good game, there are just as many bad guys looking to see you in. Some of these bad guys merely deduct points from your score, while others are fatal. Watch out for rolling logs, holes, scorpions, alligators, snakes, bottomless pits, swamps.

ZX Spectrum Puzznic

Maneuvre a selection of blocks of the same design into place inorder to clear them all.Be careful in arranging the blocks to prevent them from being blockaded. The game structure is slightly unusual. After you complete a batch of four levels, you get a choice of 2 sets of levels. What all this means is that there are 220 screens in the game. Each screen is played against a time limit. Losing a level results in a life being lost.


ZX Spectrum Quartet

You have a simple mission defeat the level-ending boss in order to obtain the key that will open the level exit. Your mission is made difficult by the planet’s inhabitants. Use your jet-pack to navigate the level, shooting any inhabitants in the way. The dead inhabitants leave behind items that will increase your score once collected. Keep moving as the inhabitants will regenerate and come after you again.


ZX Spectrum R-Type

The R-9 comes equipped as standard fighting class craft and a small gun which can only take down the smallest of enemies without firing several shots. However, the game offers many chances to upgrade to more powerful weapons and more attachments to your ship.R-Type stages have an organic style to them which were inspired by H. R. Giger’s artwork for the Alien movies. The aliens are not your only fear n this game, the levels themselves provide many challenges.

Rainbow Islands

This is the sequel to Bubble Bobble. However, Bub and Bob now take on their human form.As the boys, you must clear each screen of the bad guys before proceeding to the next level. Game play is pretty much the same as the previous version with a bunch of new power-ups added.Oh yeah, you are now armed with, get this… umbrellas.


ZX Spectrum Rampage

Rampage is another top arcade hit that was ported to many game consoles and home computers during the late 1980s.The story is that George, Lizzy and Ralph were just ordinary people, until an experiment went terribly, terribly wrong. The end result is that they turned into a Gorilla, a Lizard and a Werewolf respectively. Upset about the whole issue, they decide to go round destroying buildings.


ZX Spectrum Rastan

In Rastan, fight your way through your enemies hacking and slashing as you go with your end goal to save the land of Lograth from almost certain doom. Your enemies include flying demons, chimeras, valkyries, piranhas and skeleton. Your weapons are relatively normal for a game of this genre with axes, maces and fire swords. Pick up amour, shields, cloaks and armour to reduce injury from enemy attacks.
