The is the sequel to the arcade smash 1942. Once again, you must fight through the clouds during the second world war. The battle takes place just off the coast of the Midway islands.New features include an energy bar that can be run down by being hit from incoming fire or using a special weapon. The energy bar can be replenished by picking up power-ups. Special weapons include lightning, cyclones and waves.

You have been raised from the dead by the god Zeus to rescue his daughter Athena. You have to fight hordes of demons, with a boss at the end of each level until you meet the god Neff who holds the girl captive.Use your shapeshifting abilities to defeat your foes. In order to shapshift, collect spirit balls by defeating two-headed wolves, allowing you to mutate into different beasts such as a werewolf, a dragon, a tiger, a bear and others depending on the version.


TurboGrafx-16 Ballistix

Psygnosis’ Ballistix is an arcade game in which you have to manipulate a ball in order to score a goal with your opponent. Sound simple eh? Well, there is always a catch. You get to control an arrow which defines direction and pressing the fire key will launch a ball from this arrow in the direction the arrow points to. The ball doesn’t always seem to follow the arrow as designed, though we have been told this is a problem with the user. Oh, and watch out for the obstacles.

Barunba is a shooter in comic style. The levels automatically scroll and move in all directions so it may seem a little unwieldily at first. Weapons can be upgraded by shooting enemies and picking up the pods they might change in.Each level has it’s own theme and it’s own bosses. Oh yeah, it has both a mid-level boss and a boss at the end. A status bar at the bottom of the screen shows the energy bar of your ship and it’s game over when that bar has depleted.

The game is based on the batman movie with the Joker. In one of the stages, Batman shoots missiles aboard the Batwing, which is really cool. Scenes range from Axis chemical factory, to the Flugelheim Museumto the Cathedral.

Your mission is to recuse her while battling the sea of the enemies with only bombs at your disposal.The magnitude of the bomb’s explosion increases with upgraded, however, should you die, it resets and you you loose your previous skills. Moreover, some updates allow you walk through the walls, increase your speed and give you some other assets to aid you in your quest to save your beloved.

As White Bomberman, your mission is to restore power to the station and bring peace to the planets again. While doing this, use bombs to destroy all enemies, once you have destroyed them all on a level, find the exit hidden in a block to move to the next level.

This is a prehistoric adventure game. You you are in control of a baby and have to guide him through the levels avoiding all manner of strange nasties. Power ups come in the form of lumps of meat and give extra speed and invulnerability in the later stages.

Bonk has his revenge on King Drool III. It’s not exactly clear why Bonk is so vengeful but it appears that King Drool is responsible. Bonk uses his over-sized cranium as a lethal weapon in this sequel.Bonk uses his head-butting, head-stomping and fire-breathing moves when he eats some spicy meat.

In the kingdom of Dilsarl, princess Salasa was abducted by the evil arch-mage Balrog. The king asks for help from the four best warriors of the country. Your task is clear, but not so simple: find Balrog, destroy his evil minions and other monsters who try to stop you and rescue the princess!

Chase H.Q.

Your mission is to patrol the streets as an undercover agent and track down five criminals. Pay attention to the mission briefing before starting off. Your briefings will give you valuable information such as what car the suspects drive. Avoid crashing in to other cars while you search for the suspect. Once you catch up to the other cars, bump into them until your car is no longer functional. All this must e done under a time limit so keep an eye on your time.

Chase H.Q. II: Special Criminal Investigation

Three girls have been reported missing. Among the missing girls is the Mayor’s daughter. Once again, you must track down five vehicles, which are covered in the mission briefings. Using a Dual overhead cam V63000CC Twin Turbo Engine, five sets of nitro-fuel boosts and a gun attached to the steering wheel, patrol the streets and find these vehicles.The game-play is similar to Chase H.Q. with a few differences.

Chew Man Fu

Chew Man Fu set a curse to rob the world of fried rice, egg rolls and all its other favourite foods. Your mission is to work through 550 rounds, by placing four different coloured balls into the appropriately-coloured hole.Gameplay is something of a Pengo variant. The levels are inhabited by enemies that can be killed by firing a ball. When a ball hits one, it continues moving in the same direction, rebounding off walls.Blocks can also be moved at a more casual speed.


TurboGrafx-16 Columns

Columns is another Tetris copycat as it involves arranging falling blocks in such a way as to clear them. Columns groups three same-size but varying colour blocks that must be arranged into sequences of three or more horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Sequences of four or five count for double or triple points. The real trick is to setting up combos – where one line causes other blocks to drop so as to create other lines.

Coryoon: Child of Draggon

As Coryoon the dragon, your job is to save the princess in this horizontally-scrolling shoot ’em up. Most enemies release fruit once they are shot that can be collected for bonus points. Just don’t die try to pick them up. The game has two bosses and each level has a loosely colour-themed.

Your ship is the Swordfish with a party of six crew members: commander, two soldiers, mechanic and a doctor. However, your ship is attacked by pirates. You escape, but are stranded on a planet billions of miles from home. Find a way to repair your jump drive and find a way to return to your home planet.
