Dirt 3

Microsoft Xbox Dirt 3

Dirt 3 is an excellent racing game. Not only did the new addition to the series boast a whole new racing engine, but the franchise itself now stands on its own without the Colin McRae name branding. Dirt 3 is simply Dirt 3, and with this third outing into the gritty tracks of the series, it’s a new beast.

Fable 3

Microsoft Xbox Fable 3

While the previous title was ambitious in scope, it ultimately didn’t live up to expectations. That’s no problem with Fable 3, which gives you an entire world to explore, and kingdoms that will either prosper or crumble based on your actions.

Gears of War

Microsoft Xbox 360 Gears of War

Released on year after releasing the Microsoft Xbox 360. Gears of Wars achieved sales numbers second only to Halo 2 due to its game play, detailed graphics and story line. However, the game is very violence and quite bloody, not suitable for young children. However, the story line is cativating, the graphics will distract you as they are so detailed and have you eagerly waiting the second incarnation.

Gears of War 2

Microsoft Xbox 360 Gears Of War 2

Released two year after the first Gears of War, Gears of War two is faithful to the original story line. The story is longer and the graphics are just as detailed. Epyx improved on the multiplayer mode over the first version, but still not quite as good as Halo three with its detailed analysis of game play. However, for those that enjoyed Gears of War will no doubt love this game.

Gears of War 3

Microsoft Xbox 360 Gears Of War 3

Gears of War 3 was delayed a year due to the Halo Reach and Microsoft’s motion Kenect. Anticipation is great and expected to be a top seller for 2011, which is needed due to a bad year for game sales.

Halo Reach

Microsoft Xbox 360 Halo Reach

Bungie’s final farewell to the Halo series is a weighty, bittersweet adventure. While dedicated series fans already know the inevitable outcome of the plot, the way the story is told in Halo: Reach is the gripping ingredient in this action-filled swan song. Changing the Halo formula again, Reach even improves on the spectacular Halo 3 with new gameplay elements such as armor abilities, new melee attacks, and equipment power-ups.

L.A. Noir

Mass Effect 2

Microsoft Xbox Mass Effect 2

Red Dead Redemption
