Commodore Peripherals

Commodore Peripherals

Welcome to the Commodore retro hardware peripherals section. This does not include Commodore Amiga line of computers as they are covered in a different section.

Commodore hardware is classified into processors, storage, memory, display, video, audio, network, io, bus, emulation and misc.

While Commodore stopped making both 8-bit and 16-bit hardware for computers in the mid 1990s, several homebrew and some companies have released products to keep these classics modern and able to access modern technologies. As the Amiga was designed to replace the Commodore 8-bit computers, all Commodore computers are 8-bit. There are no 16-bit or 32-bit Commodore computers.
