Millipede

Millipede is the sequel to Centipede featuring similar game-play but with a new swarm of insects after your bug zapper! You must destroy the multi-segmented millipede as it traverses its way through the mushroom forest. When all millipede segments have been destroyed, you progress to the next level with faster bugs and more of them. In addition to the millipede, you will also encounter spiders, beetles, mosquitos, inchworms, bees, dragonflies, and earwigs. Watch out for dynamite scattered through the forrest. Hit this and it will blow up everything around it.

Mind Maze was another prototype that has surface in recent years and it appears to be some type of memory match game. However, this game won’t keep you on the edge of your seat.

Miner 2049er

You are Bounty Bob and your mission is to explore every inch of an abandoned mine. As you walk over floor sections in the mine, the floor will change color. When all of the floor sections have been changed in color, you can move on to the next, more challenging level. Sound simple? Well, to reach all floor sections, you need to figure out how to get there. You can jump, climb up and down ladders, and use different transportation devices.

Mines of Minos

You are the last mining robot on the Minos mine. Monsters have destroyed all your comrades. Your mission then is to not only survive, but also find spare parts to build more robots. To survive the monsters, use bombs to blow them up. Now the bomb does not actually blo them up, but merely transport them to another part f the maze. To win the game, get to level five and ram each of the three stationary monsters killing them. You will need at least two spare robots as the ramming will destroy you and the monster.

Miniature Golf

Rather than a full 18 holes, this Miniature Golf variation has a nine-hole half-course. Taking various obstacles into account, put the golf ball through the course and complete each hole by knocking the ball into the cup. Try to sink the ball by hitting it no more than the par number. ou have unlimited number of puts, so unless you sink the ball, the game will not progress.

Missile Command

Missile Command is a port of the very popular arcade game from the 1980s. You are tasked with defending your cities from missile attack. A variety of enemy weapons and planes seek to destroy your cities. Your only defence are the missile batteries located at the left, right and centre bottom of the screen. If any projectile gets through the missile defence system, at least one city will be lost. As you level up, be couscous of your ammo as more and more missiles will attack your cities.

Mogul Maniac

This is one of those games made by Amiga while it was secretly developing the Amiga computer. It was sold with the joyboard.

Mondo Pong

Atari 2600 Mondo Pong

Mondo Pong is another Pong variation, though this one has colour. It also has two balls with a mind of their own. Sometimes the ball will double back at you after you hit it, other times it might just spin around in circles for a bit, keeping you on your toes as you wait for it to shoot off in some direction.

Montezuma’s Revenge

You play as a treasure hunter named Panama Joe, whose goal is to find an ancient treasure hidden by Aztec warrior deep inside catacombs. The catacombs are a large maze filled with rolling skulls, dancing spiders, disappearing and re-appearing chains and tons of fire. Locate keys to unlock doors in order. While you can jump and climb ladders, your combat skills are lacking so as a result, avoid the monsters.

Moon Patrol

This is a classic port of a popular space shot-em up game where you must Jump over rocks and chasms while blasting away at aliens.

Moonsweeper

Pilot of the USS Minesweeper and patrol the moons in the Jupiter while rescuing stranded miners, destroying enemy fighters and then returning to orbit to continue patrolling. Graphics are rather simple but well drawn.

Motocross Racer

In this bike racing game, you must complete three race scenes in the shortest time. The first scene finds you in the desert with a 3-D behind the bike point of view. Avoid rocks, cacti, scorpions, and other obstacles as they will cause you to crash and lose valuable time. In the next race, you find yourself on a winding path uphill through the forest. Once again, stay on the track and watch out for obstacles. In the final segment, you find yourself on a nice beach filled with obstacles and other racers.

MotoRodeo

A true real-time multiplayer game featuring split screen. In this monster truck game, you can configure your vehicle by selecting a blazer or a truck and whether it will use tires or trax. Tires are better for going over objects while trax are better for bouncing.

Mountain King

Hidden deep within a multi-platformed diamond mine is a valuable crown. Seek out the crown is your primary goal, returning to top of the mine is your secondary goal. But most importantly, you must survive. Start off by collecting enough diamonds to earn 1,000 points. No locate the flame spirit which is hidden deep in the mines interior. After locating the flame spirit your next task is to find the entrance to the temple where the crown is located. To gain entry, offer the flame spirit to the skull spirit guarding the entrance.

Mouse Trap

Mouse Trap is another top arcade game ported to several home computers and game consoles despite its similarities to Pac-man. You are a mouse stuck in a maze. Eat all the cheese in order to go on to the next maze. The bad news comes in the form of cats that must be avoided. Thanks to the world of video games, you can temporarily turn in to a dog by eating dog bones scattered throughout the maze. Once you turn into a dog, you can chase the cats. The mouse also has the ability to enter various doors and reconfigure the maze in an attempt to outsmart the cats.

Mr. Do!

Atari 2600 Mr. Do!

Your job is to harvest the cherries while avoiding the bad guys. You have two means to defend yourself: 1) push the apples located throughout the play field on top of the enemies and crush them. 2) Throw the only powerball at the bad guys and kill them. When an alpha monster appears, kill it and earn a letter towards spelling EXTRA. Once you have spelled extra, you earn and extra life.

Mr. Do’s Castle

You are Mr. Do in a multi-floored castle. Each floor contains a variety of blocks. Using your hammer, knock out the blocks in the floor. Be careful of the deadly unicorns which want nothing other than to kill you. There are two ways to complete a castle: 1) Destroy all the unicorns by crushing them with blocks 2) Knock out all the blocks which have a cherry symbol on them.

Ms. Pac-Man

Pac-man was so popular that Ms. Pac-man was created. Ms Pac-man continued to eat the dots and avoid the ghosts but added a few new features such as new mazes, an interesting animation where Mac-man and MS Pac-man get together and bouncing fruit. Ms. Pac-Man must clear four mazes by eating all the dots and the moving fruit while avoiding Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Sue.
